Welcome from the President

The Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants (OAPA) welcomes you to our website.  We are a close group of 1,062  members. If you are new to this state or a recent graduate we welcome you to join our organization.

The OAPA’s mission is dedicated to providing quality, cost-effective, and accessible health care to all the citizens of Oklahoma. The OAPA enhances the quality of health care for Oklahoma’s citizens by providing continuing medical education, personal, and professional development of our members. The OAPA provides education to legislative, government bodies, physicians, and the public on the roles of a Physician Assistant.

Your membership includes free logging of CME with the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure, legislative representation, and a quarterly newsletter.  There are also discounted rates for our annual CME conference as well as informational resources regarding common PA practice issues such as reimbursement, licensure and PA laws.

Our new web site is very close to completion.  This site will allow secure online membership renewal, CME registration and allow real time changes in membership profiles.  In addition it will allow valuable membership exchange of information.

In closing, we are always looking for people to get involved on whatever level they feel comfortable. No contribution of time, expertise or other resources is too small. We all have our talents, and when we share them with our colleagues, it makes us stronger as a profession.

I hope that you enjoy your online visit with us and if you have any questions please feel free to contact a Board Member, our Executive Administrator, or myself.   On behalf of the OAPA  Board of Directors, I would like to welcome you to the great state of Oklahoma

Thank you for visiting our web site
