Leadership

The mission of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants (OAPA) is to secure and strengthen the Physician Assistant profession in Oklahoma through advocacy, promotion and continuing medical education.

The OAPA Board of Directors whose duties are executive and judicial, shall be in charge of all property and all financial affairs of the Academy, and shall perform such other duties as are prescribed by the laws governing the directors of corporations or as may be prescribed in the Bylaws.    Duties of the Officers and Directors can be found in the OAPA Polices and Procedures.

The OAPA Leadership year starts July 1st.  Elected board members attend six (6) meetings per year in August, during the Annual OAPA CME Conference, December, February, April, June.  

The leadership welcomes all it's members to participate in our mission.  You don't have to be a board member to become involved. Please contact Susan Thomas, Executive Director for ways you can continue our mission.
