Dr. Amanda Moyer is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Rheumatology and board-eligible in pediatric rheumatology. She is currently the Interim Division Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology at OU Health and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
Dr. Moyer provides care for pediatric rheumatology patients at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital and manages adult rheumatology patients at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF)] in Oklahoma City.
Her clinical and research interests include adolescent and young adult (AYA) rheumatology care, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), medical education, autoinflammatory disease, and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA).

Objectives:
- Distinguish inflammatory from non-inflammatory musculoskeletal pain using key historical and physical examination features.
- Apply ANA testing in the evaluation of pediatric joint complaints — including appropriate indications, interpretation of results, and when NOT to order it.
- Classify the seven ILAR subtypes of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis and describe their distinguishing features.
