48th Annual OAPA CME Conference for Physician Assistants

General Information
The Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants 48th Annual Fall CME Conference will provide educational activities that will assist PAs in their ongoing efforts to remain current with medical knowledge, clinical skills, and health care issues to enhance the PAs ability to provide quality care to patients. The topics for this program were selected by monitoring trends in current therapies, medical advances, and past program evaluations.
This year not only will we be doing an in-person conference but you will be able to participate virtually as well. The Virtual Conference will include three days of LIVE stream CME sessions and access to the On-Demand Library until December 31, 2021.
Accommodations
The OAPA is excited to announce that we will be back in Tulsa after missing last year's in-person meeting! This year the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will host our conference. The Hard Rock is currently a non-smoking facility, and the convention center is always smoke-free. Each of the 454 rooms and suites offers some of the best state-of-the-art amenities in Oklahoma. CME Credit
This activity has been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 25 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation. Approval is valid from 9/29/2021 to 12/31/2021.
CME Logging
OAPA members registered for the conference and who have completed the session evaluation for each lecture attended will have their CME hours logged automatically with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure.
The OAPA will participate in the NCCPA CME Conference Logging System. This is an added benefit to significantly simplify the logging process with NCCPA. Participants will receive a unique link to a list of conference activities on your certification page. This will be a point-and-click approach, and credits logged this way are not subject to the NCCPA AUDIT because they are already confirmed by the OAPA.
Exhibit Hall
The Exhibit Hall will open at 9:00 am on Wednesday, September 29th, and close at 5:00 pm. It will re-open at 8:00 am, Thursday, September 30th, and close and dismantle after the last break.
OAPA Tailgate Party
Join us Thursday evening for an OAPA Tailgate! There will be tailgate food, drink tickets, corn hole, and, of course, catching up with fellow PA's. Don't forget a few business cards to network with current PA students and come dressed ready to cheer for your favorite team!
