48th Annual OAPA CME Conference for Physician Assistants
September 29 – October 1, 2021
The Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants 48th Annual Fall CME Conference will provide educational activities that will assist PAs in their ongoing efforts to remain current with medical knowledge, clinical skills, and health care issues to enhance the PAs ability to provide quality care to patients. The topics for this program were selected by monitoring trends in current therapies, medical advances, and past program evaluations.
This year not only will we be doing an in-person conference but you will be able to participate virtually as well. The Virtual Conference will include three days of LIVE stream CME sessions and access to the On-Demand Library until December 31, 2021.
The OAPA is excited to announce that we will be back in Tulsa after missing last year's in-person meeting! This year the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will host our conference. The Hard Rock is currently a non-smoking facility, and the convention center is always smoke-free. Each of the 454 rooms and suites offers some of the best state-of-the-art amenities in Oklahoma. Posh, sleek and stylishly comfortable, it is no surprise that some guests never want to leave. Each room is full of amenities specifically designed to make your stay a hit!
The special negotiated room rate is $129.00 for single or double and $169.00 for the King Suite Tower. Hotel reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 800-760-6700 or by the direct link: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
Direct Link Instructions:

2. Select your date of arrival and departure in the top left corner
3. Click Search to view the negotiated room rates.
4. Enter your information and method of payment

The special room rate is available until September 7, 2021, or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Please make your reservations NOW to avoid unavailability or a rate change!
Conference organizers plan to request 33 hours of AAPA Category I CME credit. An additional 12 hours of Category I CME will be available through workshops to include BLS/PALS/ACLS and EKG workshops. The program is not yet approved for CME credit.
The program will include the required one-hour Category I CME on the topic of substance abuse.
OAPA members registered for the conference and who have completed the session evaluation for each lecture attended will have their CME hours logged automatically with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure.
The OAPA will participate in the NCCPA CME Conference Logging System. This is an added benefit to significantly simplify the logging process with NCCPA. Participants will receive a unique link to a list of conference activities on your certification page. This will be a point-and-click approach, and credits logged this way are not subject to the NCCPA AUDIT because they are already confirmed by the OAPA.
The Exhibit Hall will open at 9:00 am on Wednesday, September 29th, and close at 5:00 pm. It will re-open at 8:00 am, Thursday, September 30th, and close and dismantle after the last break.
Plan to attend the OAPA Reception this year where there will be food, fellow PA's, and friends. PA Students are invited to come and network with working PA's and get to know your soon to be colleagues.
