Dr. Jane Purser, a native of Boulder, Colorado, received her Bachelor of Arts and Medical Degree from the University of Colorado. She joined the Allergy Clinic of Tulsa, Inc. in 1993.
She is board-certified in Allergy/Clinical Immunology. She trained at the University of California at Los Angeles – St. Mary Medical Center for her Internship and Residency in internal medicine and UCLA Medical Center for her Allergy and Immunology Fellowship.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She is a past-president of the Oklahoma Allergy and Asthma Society. She is also a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and has served on the Medical Advisory Board of the American Lung Association.
She is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center – Tulsa; and has served as Chair of the Women in Medicine Committee. She actively volunteers for the Neighbors Along the Line program. She also participates in medical mission trips to Guyana, South America.
She is married to Gordon Purser, PhD, a chemistry professor at the University of Tulsa. She has two children and one grand-daughter.
