Dr. John Williams joined Oklahoma Heart Hospital in 1999. He was a clinical instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma from 1995 to 1996. His interest include general diagnostic cardiology, interventional cardiology, and echocardiography. He also enjoys being involved with medical education and the instruction of students and residents when possible. Dr. Williams enjoys golf, snow skiing, fitness training, and spending time with his wife and two young sons .
Transcatheter Repair for Mitral Valve Regurgitation
Objectives:
- Understand the types of mitral valve regurgitation.
- Understand clinical symptoms of mitral valve regurgitation and indications for repair.
- Gain knowledge of the techniques for non-surgical repair of the mitral valve.
