Kristin Weis, Co-Founder and CEO, The Demand

Kristin Weis has been a relentless pioneer in the fight against child sex trafficking and the sexual exploitation of humans since 2004. After first learning about human trafficking, she committed her life to combating it – earning a certificate in Children’s Outreach Ministry from Victory Bible College, serving as National Director for a grassroots anti-trafficking organization from 2009-2013, and co-founding The Demand Project in 2013. The Demand Project’s mission is to eradicate child trafficking through Prevention and Restoration – a strategy Kristin helped shape and lead. She is a licensed Private Investigator, Victim Crisis Advocate, and former member of the Presidential Advisory Council, where she authored the Alternative2Prison program. Kristin is also the creator of two national anti-trafficking training initiatives: Awaken and Aware, for adults, and Empower Assembly, for youth ages 11–17 – impacting thousands each year through education and prevention.
