Annual OAPA Fall CME Conference
September 18 -20, 2019
The Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants 46th Annual Fall CME Conference is designed to provide you with the most valuable educational program with dynamic speakers who will assist PAs in their ongoing efforts to remain current with medical knowledge, clinical skills, and health care issues. More than that, the OAPA Conference provides you with the opportunity to network with your colleagues.
The conference will offer two concurrent tracks on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Wednesday morning’s track will cover non-diabetic endocrine topics. The Thursday morning track will cover emergency medicine topics.
The conference will also offer a BLS provider course, refresher classes for PALS and ACLS, and two workshops. One workshop will be a coding workshop to help maximize reimbursement by understanding coding. The second workshop is an advocacy workshop to help you understand the importance of advocating for your profession, how a bill becomes law and tips for talking to your legislator.
The Embassy Suites Norman Hotel & Conference Center will host this year’s conference. It features 283 spacious two-room suites with separate living rooms and bedrooms. Each room includes great amenities like refrigerators, microwaves, and high-speed internet access. It also offers a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast each morning and a Manager’s Reception each evening featuring your favorite cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and appetizers.
The special negotiated room rate is $135.00 for 2 different room types. Hotel reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 1-866-577-1273 and refer to group code "APA". Reservations can also be made online at Embassy Suites using the same group code "APA".
The special room rate is available until September 2, 2019, or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Please make your reservations NOW to avoid unavailability or a rate change!
