Dr. Sahab Astani is a highly trained optometrist specializing in ocular disease. Raised in Norman, Oklahoma, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Oklahoma before pursuing his Doctorate of Optometry at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. Dr. Astani completed his residency in ocular disease and refractive surgery at EyeCare Associates of South Tulsa.
Dr. Astani’s clinical skills encompass the management of both anterior and posterior segment ocular diseases, including anterior segment laser procedures, in-office surgical interventions, and a broad spectrum of ocular treatments. For the past two years, he has been the lead physician at EyeCare Now, managing a wide variety of ocular disease.
Dr. Astani is now furthering his expertise through a vitreoretinal disease fellowship at the Retina Vitreous Center. Dr. Astani is an active member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association.
