Satisfies Substance Abuse Requirement for Oklahoma Licensure

The Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants recorded the lecture, “Opiate Crisis in America—When Will It End?” during the 50th Annual OAPA CME Conference. This lecture was presented by Lowell J. Robertson, M.D., Internal Medicine/Addiction Medicine, Director of Detoxification, Co-Occurring Disorders, and In-patient Services, Grand ARC-TSA, OHPP Director, Assistant Clinical Professor.

This lecture will satisfy the Oklahoma Medical Board of Licensure & Supervision required one-hour Category I CME on the topic of substance abuse for Oklahoma PA license renewal.

At the conclusion of the presentation, the participant should be able to:

  • Discuss the history of opioid epidemics in the US.
  • Describe the severity of the current opioid epidemic.
  • List facts/statistics surrounding the opioid epidemic.
